EMPLOYMENT EQUITY

The Town of Truro has an Affirmative Action Agreement which has been approved by the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission.  One of our goals is to increase representation of Designated Groups within our workforce.  Designated Groups under the Employment Equity Act are women, visible minorities, First Nations and persons with disabilities.

If you wish to be considered under the Affirmative Action Plan, please complete the Self Identification Form, in the areas which apply to you.  The Self Identification Form is included as part of the Town's Employment Application Form (83.27 kB).
