Litter Patrol

 

At the request of Council, the Truro Parks and Recreation Department initiated a Litter Control Program in May, 2001 employing six university students on a part time basis each summer. It has been extremely successful and well received in all areas of Town.

In addition, the Recreation Department plans to establish additional public litter receptacles throughout the town and we would encourage your cooperation in helping to "Keep Truro Clean."

Part Time Opportunities

Any students who might be interested in helping clean up litter and debris throughout the Town of Truro on a part time basis from early April until the end of August should submit a resume to:
