Recreational Facilities

The vision for the Town of Truro Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture is that Truro will be an active, healthy community where there are opportunities for all residents to be engaged in a variety of recreational, sport and cultural activities of their choice, and opportunities to socialize and celebrate with family and friends through community events.

With that in mind, the department is responsible for the care and maintenance of many facilities in Truro including Victoria Park, Victoria Park Pool, Douglas Street Recreation Centre, Kiwanis Park, Colchester Legion Stadium, five ballfields, three soccer fields and the TAAC Grounds and Clubhouse.
