The Truro Amateur Athletic Club Grounds, commonly known as TAAC Grounds, is a 10 acre multi-purpose athletic facility located in the west end of Truro. It was originally established in the late 1800's and became the direct responsibility of the Town in 1972. The facility hosts track & field, baseball, football, rugby, and also has a children's playground. The playground was a cooperative project developed by citizens of the neighbourhood and the Department of Parks & Recreation.

The TAAC Grounds has recently gone through a major renovation and now sports a wonderful new 5,000 square foot clubhouse facility which has a number of athletics change rooms as well as two separate meeting rooms spaces that can be available for public use by contacting the Parks and Recreation office at 893-6078.
