HST Rebates

Eligible Applicants: All owners of provincially and municipally registered heritage properties, and properties located in Heritage Conservation Districts

Benefits:

  • Rebate on the provincial portion of the HST
  • Applicable to costs for exterior maintenance and restoration, to a maximum of $500.00

Applications:

  • For Provincially Registered Heritage, available through Heritage Property Program administered by Tourism, Culture and Heritage Department;
  • For Municipally Registered Heritage and properties in Heritage Conservation Districts, forms are available through the Town Planning and Development Department.

Conservation Advice Grant

Eligible Applicants: All owners of provincially/municipally registered heritage properties, and properties located within Heritage Conservation Districts.

Benefits:

  • 50% of eligible costs, to a maximum grant of $1000.00.
  • Fees of approved conservation consultant, engaged to advise on the maintenance or restoration of the building exterior structure

Applications:

For Provincially registered Heritage, available through Heritage Property Program administered by Tourism, Culture and Heritage Department;

For Municipally Registered Heritage and properties in Heritage Conservation Districts, forms are available through the Town Planning and Development Department.
