The Truro Welcome Centre is located at historic Victoria Square, Commercial Street, in downtown Truro. The Welcome Centre is open 7 days per week and hours of operation are: May 15- June 30: 9am-5pmJuly 1- August 30: 8:30am -7:30pm September 1- October 31: 9am- 5pm The Welcome Centre offers:

Also during the winter months, the Welcome Centre plays a major part in the Downtown Truro Festival of Lights.

The Truro Welcome Centre is now open for the 2011 Tourism Season.
During the winter months, weather permitting, Victoria Square is home of the Truro Outdoor Rink which has become a very popular attraction for residents and visitors.
