Colchester Legion Stadium
The Colchester Legion Stadium is a focal point of sport and recreational activities for people of all ages in the Town of Truro.
Home to the Jr. A Bearcats, the Truro and Area Minor Hockey Association and pleasure and competitive skating, the stadium has an ice surface measuring 61 x 26 metres (200 x 85 feet). Seating capacity is 2,100. There are six team dressing rooms, an officials room, a first aid room, a canteen, and a large heated lounge overlooking the ice surface.

Games are every Tuesday from 9:10 p.m. to 11:10 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 - 11:00 p.m.

The Truro Junior Pleasure Skating Club
Tuesdays from 6:10 to 7 p.m. starting Oct. 11.
Registration will be held in the front lobby of the Colchester Legion Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; on Sunday Oct. 2 from 2 to 4 p.m.; and on Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Fee is $55 for the season. The program is open to boys and girls ages 11 and under and will run Tuesdays from 6:10 to 7 p.m. beginning Oct. 11. The club provides supervision, but children must be able to skate on their own.

Stadium Canteen Hours:
Monday to Friday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. during the school year.
Friday 5:00 - 9:30 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Sunday 12:30 - 4:30 p.m.
The Canteen is also open for special events by request.
Lounge
The Lounge at the Colchester Legion Stadium is available for wedding receptions, banquets, staff functions and meetings. It can seat up to 180 people for a formal seated banquet or up to 245 for other functions. Full kitchen and bar facilities are also available.
