f you live in the Town of Truro and own a dog, you must purchase a Town of Truro Dog License.
A Town of Truro Dog License is valid for the lifetime of the dog. The cost of a Dog License is $25.00. The replacement cost is also $25.00. A Dog License may be purchased either online or in person.

Please fill out the Dog License application below.
Once your application is complete and submitted, you will be prompted to complete the payment process via credit card. Please ensure you complete the payment process for the dog license application to be processed. The Town will mail Dog Tag(s) to the address provided in the application within 2-4 business days.
In Person
You may also purchase a Dog License by visiting us at Town Hall, 695 Prince Street, Truro, NS.

Credit Card is NOT available in person.

If you DO NOT live in Truro, you do not need to register for a Dog License.
